The country of sultans

Turkey is one of the countries that I most want to visit. For many years I've been  captivated by their culture, language, architecture, ways of life and their people, but without doubt, one of the things that I'm most passionate about this land is its history.

I had studied the history of Middle Eastern and Turkey before in a course of my university, so I know what places you have to visit. For example, the Hagia Shopia, located in istanbul, capital of Turkey, is one of the monuments that you can't miss. In fact, I have talked to my teacher about this museum and he told me that this building was the largest in the world for almost a thousand years

Furthermore, this country has been recognized for the Byzantine Empire and the sultans, but also, today is known, especially in Chile, for the TV series. However, Turkey is member of the UN and has tried for many years to be part of the European Union. On the other side, in this country many cultures and ethnic groups coexist. In fact, the population is a lot, they are 79,8 million people.

When I travel to this country, I would like to study the language and perhaps a course on the politics of the region. Anyway, I haven't decided what I will do, I prefer that life surprises me.
